"Aaahh!!" you screamed as you shot up on the bed. You panted and placed a hand on your neck, noting that nothing was wrong with it. You let out a long sigh for that little piece of information. "Thank god. It was all just a dream."

"Or was it?" you screamed yet again and brought a pillow up to shield you from the man in red.

"Who are you?! What are you doing here?! Get out!!!" The man laughed at you and your pathetic shield and moved into a position that was more comfortable.

"Should you really be talking that way to your King, my dear?" You twitched and held the pillow even closer to yourself.

"Don't call me that! I want you to get out!"

"You see, I would do that, but two things are keeping me from doing so."

"Oh yeah? Then what are they?"

"Well, you are one reason why. I can't possibly leave you alone, my flower. Honestly, what kind of King would I be if I just let my Queen wander around in the dangerous environment that surrounds her? A pretty awful one if you ask me." You raised the pillow high above your head, ready to smack it across his face, but he caught your wrist before you could.

"Secondly, my Master has ordered me to keep a close eye on you until you woke up. And since you're awake, my Master will now want to see you." You blinked and gave the man a questioning look.

"Master?"

"Yes. Her name is Sir Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. She is my Master and 'almost' the reason why I saved you."

"Oh, um...okay then." The man in red took a sudden hold of your wrist and began to force you out of the bed. "Hey, what the heck do you think you're doing?!"

"As I said before, we are going to see my Master. Now come along, my dear. I don't want to have to drag you around all day. Or is it that you want me to let you stay here and give you the much needed 'attention' you deserve~?" You instantly ran out the door and down the hall, the strange man laughing at your flustered form behind you. "You're going the wrong way, my flower!" he shouted. He waited a moment to see you shoot down in the opposite direction.

"I knew that!" He rolled his eyes.

"Sure you did, my Queen."

"So, I bet you're wondering where you are and who we are, Miss...?"

"________ (<-Last name), ma'am."

"Ms. ________." You sighed and observed the people around you. The man in red, who so far was a pain in your hindquarters, was standing close to your side, which raised a curious glance from the butler and a slightly annoyed look from Sir Hellsing. They didn't know what was going on with him and obviously neither did you.

"Well, I'm sure my servant has already introduced himself to you," she said, gesturing towards the man beside you. You frowned and the man in red smirked.

"Actually, he hasn't." Integra raised a brow to this.

"Really? I'm surprised at you, Servant." He simply bowed at her words, that devilish smirk of his still in place.

"I was trying to seem mysterious to my Queen, Master." Integra blinked at the mention of 'Queen.'

"Right...Well go ahead and introduce yourself then." The man bowed once more and turned to you. You watched as he slowly took your hand and flushed the moment he brought it to his lips.

"It is a pleasure to FINALLY meet you, flower. I am Alucard." You gulped down the lump that strangely formed in your throat and tried to compose yourself. Well wasn't he the charming one?

"Hello...Alucard." Said man gave a low growl in content. The way you said his name just made him want to take you to his room (dungeon) and do horrid things to you. Of course, others would call his "methods" horrible, but he liked to think of it as love making to the highest caliber.

"Alright, now that Alucard has introduced himself I would like to move on to more pressing matters," Integra informed as she brought a cigar to her lips.

"Just recently an alarming amount of ghouls have been sighted in Cheddar. One of the two freaks that caused it has been taken care of by Alucard last night, but because of that we ended up with an unexpected guest. Alucard, I want you to take out the last threat, but first..." Integra looked towards you, a humorous glint entering her eyes the moment she stopped talking.

"Ms. ________, tell me, how much do you know about vampires?" You frowned and tilted your head in thought.

"Vampires, sir?"

"Yes, vampires." You looked at her awkwardly. Where exactly was this conversation heading?

"Well, I only know as much as my best friend knows. I know about the stories of Dracula and this other stuff from the Syfy and Chiller channel, and then there's also Twilight." Alucard hissed at the mention of that. You looked up at him and flinched at the scowl that adorned his face. "Hey, w-what's wrong?" you asked, voice quivering.

"Twilight. Such a stupid little fairy tale. They nearly got everything right, but then they made the vampires sparkle. How ridiculous!" Walter chuckled from his side of the room and Integra fought to hide her smile from the assassin. You, on the other hand, could not understand what they were laughing about, but that didn't keep you from inching yourself away from the angry man. Sadly, he seemed to notice you move and quickly wrapped an arm around your waist. You yelped in surprise and he smirked as your form came in contact with his.

"Are you frightened, my Queen?" You scowled and shook your head quickly.

"N-no! And stop calling me that, it's annoying!" He laughed darkly at your lie and gently kissed your forehead.

"Whatever you say, MY QUEEN."

"Grrr..."

"Ahem!" You both turned towards Integra.

"Now back to the subject at hand...Ms. ________, I believe that it would be best if you stayed here with us."

"Huh? But why? I'm not in any danger, right? I mean Alucard pretty much wiped out that other guy."

"Yes, but because of that, the last freak noticed that half of the ghouls in their army just up and died and now he's looking for the cause of it." You blinked and pointed towards the man beside you.

"Alucard?"

"No, you, Ms. ________." You gasped.

"Eh?! But I was the victim! There's no way I could have been the cause of anything!" You were starting to panic. Some random creep was out there, right now, hunting you down for something that you didn't even do. Seriously, was this whole week trying to make you lose it?!

"Ms. ________, calm down. We know you weren't the cause of the problem, but the freak doesn't. You see, he went to the scene where his partner was killed and the only scent that remained there was your own. Not even Alucard's scent was left behind, which is a bit strange even for him." Alucard shrugged.

"I just used the natural hunters way of survival."

"And that would be?"

"I covered my scent." Integra's brow raised.

"Really now? And how did you manage to do that? And if you were able to cover your scent, why didn't you cover Ms. ________'s scent also?"

"I used mud. I had enough to only cover my scent."

"How did you manage to get mud? It's the dry season!"

"Well I-" As they both discussed the subject of how Alucard pulled a Houdini on the possible psycho murderer who was out for your blood, time managed to stop for you. So you really were in grave danger and there was nothing you could do about it. Perfect. You just wanted to cry, yell, and throw up all at once. Why you? Why was all of this happening to you?! What could you have done to deserve this sort of thing from the universe? If it was about pulling that annoying tag that was sticking out of your mattress yesterday morning, didn't death seem like a bit of an overreaction?! Integra stopped talking the moment she noticed the distressed look on your face and sighed.

"Walter, please take Ms. ________ back to her room. I think she needs some time to rest." Walter bowed.

"Yes, Sir Integra." He walked up to you and gently nudged your shoulder to bring you out of your state of fear.

"Ms. ________, if you'll follow me, I'll take you back to your room." You let out a shaky breath and nodded your head.

"Okay." When you both reached the door, Integra's voice stopped you in your tracks.

"Ms. ________, there is nothing to fear. Here at the Hellsing Organization we will make sure you are kept safe and sound." You wanted to think twice about that, but the seriousness of her voice made you take her words to heart.

"Thank you, sir Integra." She nodded and gave you a small, almost non-existent smile as you walked out. Integra chuckled under her breath at how much you related to a small puppy. Maybe having you here wouldn't be such a bad thing after all. It would probably be nice having another female around here. She looked to her servant Alucard, who was smirking in the direction you left in, and frowned. 'However, Alucard has been more distracted ever since he brought Ms. ________ here.'

"Alucard." The vampire turned to her slowly.

"Yes, my Master?"

"Why is it that you've been paying 'close' attention to Ms. ________?" The vampire in red chuckled at his master.

"I'm afraid I can't quite tell you." Integra continued to frown.

"What?" The air became thick with tension. Uh oh.

(With you and Walter)

Walter led you down an array of hallways and you stared at the many pictures you passed in wonder. This place was so amazing! The pictures were astounding and (several) of the people living here were really nice. You could probably get used to living in this place if you could. You both continued walking when a question you've been meaning to ask suddenly came back to you.

"Um, Walter?" The butler stopped walking and turned to give you a curious look.

"Yes, Ms. ________?"

"Uh, it's okay if you just called me ________, but um...when sir Integra was mentioning those ghouls back there....uhh....well they wouldn't happen to look or act like zombies, would they?" His expression turned from curious to shocked in an instant.

"Yes, but how on earth did you know?"

"Well my friend told me about them, but I didn't really believe her when she did mention them. But now seeing as how you all seem to know about ghouls then it must be true." Walter nodded his head.

"Yes, it is in fact true. Ghouls are basically zombies under the control of a single vampire who attacked them when they were still alive."

"A vampire?!"

"Yes."

"So they're real too. That guy that attacked me yesterday...he was a vampire, wasn't he?" He nodded his head. "Right. I probably should have figured when he started sniffing at my neck."

"Indeed, you would have become a ghoul...unless...________?"

"Yes, Walter?"

"Are you a virgin?" You blushed.

"Why do people keep mentioning that word?!" He chuckled at your sudden reaction and waited for you to answer.

"Well, are you?"

"....Yes...." Walter let out a relieved sigh.

"Then you wouldn't have turned into a ghoul." You gave Walter the confused puppy look.

"Wha-? But you just said that humans can turn into ghouls if they're bitten by a vampire."

"Yes, but only if they are de-flowered."

"De-flowered?"

"Yes. However, since you're still a virgin you can only become a vampire instead."

"Really? Ugh, I don't want that to happen."

"And it won't....unless Alucard has something planned for you..." he whispered the last part to himself.

"What?" Walter smiled.

"Nothing."

(Back to Alucard and Integra)

"What did you just say, servant?"

"I said I won't tell you." Integra slammed her hands against her desk.

"And why bloody no-!"

"At least, not yet." She stopped to stare at him.

"What?"

"I won't tell you yet. When I complete my mission I'll tell you everything you wish to know." Integra let out a puff of smoke from her cigar, still annoyed with Alucard's actions.

"Fine, but after you kill that vampire you will immediately tell me what's going on."

"Yes, my Master." And with the conversation over and done with, Alucard left Integra to prepare for his mission. But first he had to take care of one more thing. He phased back into your room and slowly made his way towards your slumbering form. You looked so innocent, so pure and full of life. Alucard couldn't wait to turn you into a full fledged vampire. 'But I must make her comfortable with the idea first, then she's all mine,' Alucard thought as he gazed at your lips, picturing them against his own. 'I should probably leave her to rest.' He turned to leave the room, intending to go get ready, but he suddenly got a devious idea. He turned back towards you, leaned in closely to your face, and quickly stole a kiss before you could even notice. He chuckled and left you to sleep the night away, a pleased smirk forming slowly onto his face.

"After that little pick-me-up from my lovely queen, I just know this day is going to be interesting." With that said, he disappeared in a wisp of smoke.

(After the events in Cheddar)

Alucard walked past the Do Not Cross line and walked up to his Master, a bundle held loosely in his arms. Integra spotted him, along with the other police men, and smirked.

"Well done, Alucard. How did it go?" He gave her a bored look.

"The vampire's dead. No survivors." Integra's expression changed from calm to confused.

"Huh? Then who's she? Isn't that police girl a survivor?"

"No, actually she's dead." The girl in his arms sweat dropped.

"I...I'm sorry." The moment her teeth gleamed, everyone nearly doubled over.

"What's the big idea, you fool?!" Integra yelled.

"I couldn't help it." The girl in his arms began to flail about.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!!" Integra let out an annoyed groan.

"This means we're back where we started!" Alucard smirked and looked up to the moon. 'Yes, this day truly was interesting.'
Wow, it didn't take long to finish this chapter, I truly am impressed with myself this week! :D (it won't last long, though I just know it... TT_TT)
